The Treasure Valley Master Plumbers Association is a huge supporter of the College of Western Idaho apprenticeship program.  We have members on the apprenticeship board.  One of our projects has been to endow the Ron Ginner Scholarship.  The endowed scholarship will be given the the top 3rd-year student, graduating into the 4th-year program.  We are also providing incentives for excellence for the other years for the program as well.  We are proud to be involved with development of the new lab at the College of Western Idaho. 

TVMPA is very active at the legislature, regarding all legislation that affects the plumbing trade.  We feel strongly about defending our industry from the many special interest groups that are attacking it!  For example; Defending the IAPMO codes fagainst the aggressive supporters of the ICC codes, opposing a poorly drafted contractor licensing bill, opposing county option (which creates multi-hat inspectors and substantially weakens the uniformity of plumbing inspections), and much more.

TVMPA is the only organization that is dedicated specifically to the plumbing trade in the Treasure Valley!
